Things to note when applying:
What is your IGN?
(Obvious question, just put your Minecraft name)
How old are you?
(We have no age restriction now, so please don't lie)
Where are you from?
(Speaks for itself)
How did you find out about this server?
(Don't just say "Google", a link is preferable or just the name of the site or whomever sent you)
How mature would you say you are?
(I think this question can be taken in different ways )
Do you have much experience with small servers?
(Small servers meaning just small community ones, no big servers where you can donate £1000 and get OP and rule the server with an iron fist with your parents' money)
What do you expect to get out of this server?
(This is asking you what you expect to find if you join this server)
What's the 9th rule of the server?
(You should be able to figure out where to find this)
What would you like to say about yourself?
(This is the biggie, say about anything whatsoever regarding yourself as a person, not just a player. The people who talk about themselves as a person and make us learn more about the person behind the screen are the ones who are more successful)
This is how I would apply to the server if I had to do it again:
What is your IGN?
Alexandros
How old are you?
16
Where are you from?
The United Kingdom, England, to be precise.
How did you find out about this server?
My friend told me about this server over two years ago and wanted me to help him with some stuff for an hour or so. (true story)
How mature would you say you are?
Do you have much experience with small servers?
No. I've usually been the player to go on major servers. Whilst I have been on smaller Faction servers; it wasn't exactly the same atmosphere as a server such as this.
What do you expect to get out of this server?
I want to be able to make new friends, have a gaming community to be a part of but most importantly, enjoy myself.
What's the 9th rule of the server?
Bordyr!
What would you like to say about yourself?
As I've said before, my name is Alex. I'm half-Welsh half-Greek. This basically means I'm half a sheep shagger and half a goat shagger. I feel like I'm a person who tries to make sure nobody is left behind. I think I've got a good sense of humour, but that's usually only after a few pints of Heineken. I rarely get annoyed, as I feel that it's just pointless and that you should always think positively to carry on. As you can probably guess now, I'm very optimistic. I feel like a teenage girl due to the amount of time I spend texting and the fact that my ex gave me a makeover and I looked FABULOUS.
I'm currently a student studying several sciences for A-Levels. Science is something which is almost as intriguing as trying to figure out what Jaden Smith means in his Tweets. I mean seriously, just look at this twitter.com/officialjaden.
I'd like to think that I have quite a few hobbies. I love sailing and even teach people how to sail (£300 for 5 days of sailing is pretty handy.) I enjoy martial arts and fighting sports. I've got a black belt in Taekwon-do and do it most days. I enjoy hockey as well. But that's mainly just guys chasing other guys for their balls. I'm currently looking for a proper job so that I don't have to rely ondrug dealing sailing in the winter to get wasted. (I also pay £200 a year for you guys.)
I'm not really the biggest of gamers and don't really watch others playing it. I only play a few games such as Minecraft, Ark: Survival Evolved, Skyrim and War Thunder. On games I usually like to be away from the others but still within reach of people. Usually because I end up having loads of ideas of expansion and then never bother.
I'm not really going to go on since I'm hungry. But that should be enough.
- Use your personality! That's the most important trait!
- Try using good English. Most people here are not from an English-speaking country so it doesn't have to be exceptional. But it'll help make your application look better. This isn't too important to be honest.
- You don't have to put anything personal in your application, just put information about yourself which you're happy to share.
- Try to make your application stand out. Make it look different to all the others. I won't say much else regarding this.
- Try laying out your application in an easy-to-read format. It really helps and makes you look like you've put even more effort into your application. Try separating the questions and the answers, using different colours, different fonts etc.
- I appreciate it when applicants go out of their way to look around the server and talk to other members.
- Most importantly though: be yourself! We don't want someone lying about how good their are at everything in the world or all the amazing things they do on Minecraft and how amazing their builds are (which I can find from a simple Google search.) Be yourself.
