Most of you love it, some of you hate it. A lot of new members aren't in the Skype group, this is probably because you're either unaware or haven't been asked about it yet.
Skype is the main way most of us talk. Most of the time the conversations are nonsense and are not related to Minecraft, but still. In my opinion it's a great way to talk to players who are less active on the server. We also use Skype for server events! We have a very active Skype group. Skype is one of the primary ways of communicating with people on the server, it's a such a large part of Realm if you're a talkative person. Some people don't like using it or feel that the chat is too spammy, so don't worry if you don't want to join it
Feel free to send a contact request to me on Skype and I'll gladly add you to the group. Just send me a private message on the forum or post down below with your Skype name. We have one main group and then several others for certain games such as Rocket League, War Thunder and ARK: Survival Evolved. The Skype group is basically a 24/7 chat room most of the time so you may need to disable notifications so that you don't hear a constant pinging from people talking on it. Skype is a large part of the community and, in my opinion, you are missing out on a lot of content if you are not a part of it, even if it's just for events. We have Skype calls fairly frequently when gaming.
