What is your IGN?
imhudson
How old are you?
29
Where are you from? USA (Austin, TX. Central Time Zone)
How did you find out about this server?
Reddit thread on /r/mcservers.
How mature would you say you are?
Pretty Much an old man as far as minecraft/gaming is concerned.
Do you have much experience with small servers?
I've been a part of a few small community servers, my favorite of which was a closed server comprised of 10 or so players from the Monday Night Combat community. I've also hosted a small server for my friends in college and grad school, and messed around a bit with a minecraft realm. I've played on hardcore PvP servers and servers full of game changing plugins, but have pretty much settled on Vanilla-like community based servers as my preference. I've been out of the loop on minecraft since around update 1.6, but am looking forward to getting back in the swing of things.
What do you normally do when on a Minecraft server?
My true passion in minecraft is building houses/bases with immersive interiors. Between intensive builds I'll usually go exploring and jot down co-ordinates of interesting places I've discovered in the world. I found a picture of one of my old builds from 2012:
What do you expect to get out of this server?
A sense of community and a wonderful group of people to interact with while building/exploring.
What's the 9th rule of the server?
#Foreveralove
What would you like to say about yourself?
I'm a 29 year old landman/tile researcher who primarily does work in the energy industry. I normally travel for work but am hoping to call Austin, TX my permanent home after falling in love with the city, and more importantly, a wonderful Woman I have met here. As far back as I can remember, I've loved video games because of the escapism they allow me to participate in when the real world gets too rough or too boring. My favorite video game of all time is Super Metroid. Even in 2015, it stands as one of the most immersive gaming experiences I've ever encountered. Minecraft has a sort of ambient tranquility about it that keeps me coming back, no matter how many hiatuses I find myself taking. I currently have a lot of free time and would likely be on 20+ hours per week, throughout the days and evenings on weekdays. Sunday is the only real guaranteed day that I would likely not be available. I hope to meet you all soon if accepted!
