I've started doing a Let's Play in solo mode, and I give a shout out to some RoSers while I'm there. UHC videos etc will be recorded and uploaded as and when I get my goddamn Skype working.

There's a disclaimer in the description that says I had to use my onboard microphone for this one. My good mic is all set up for next time. And I've actually fixed Skype, so UHC-related shenanigans will occur next time there is one.

I thought about doing a single player series but I am so hot and cold with Minecraft right now it would definitely drown.  Are you still continuing this series, or still setting up your mic? |

Episode II is recorded but I haven't had time to edit it or put it online as I've been busy with wrestling. Should be up sometime this week. EDIT: Both my mic and my Skype are now working, so provided the next UHC isn't this Saturday I should be able to play and record that too. |

Bit of bad news on this front, my computer spazzed out over the weekend and deleted most of my saves, including the UKMC one. I'll be rebooting the series, which in some ways is a good thing cos I'll have good mic reception from the word 'go' this time.

Hate to be 'that guy'*, but it'd be great if I could get some more feedback from people re. my videos. Try not to cite audio issues - they're ongoing because the guy I loaned my XLR cable to gave it back to me broken, so I'm having to wait to get a replacement and improve my mic performance.
I want to get better and make more videos (get subscribers, get money, get bitches, get yelled at by my wife for having bitches) so all constructive feedback is appreciated. YEEEAH.

For my feedback: We have very different styles so this may not apply. The first thing that comes to my mind is that, four episodes in you haven't established anything more than a starter home. I believe you may be capturing too much of the tedious things whereas, I want to see your build style and maybe some adventures into a new area. I know you're on the island, so you've been limited on where to build so I think you should make a home, add some detail, make a small dock or something (whatever your style is) then move on to a larger area and find a nice spot to build something a bit larger.
In the end though, I think you just need to have a plan at the beginning of the episode and try to reach that goal by the end, or at least a milestone if it is a big project. It comes down to who you are inspired by as well. You probably want to do videos like them, so maybe try to actually analyze their videos to see how they are successful and try to make your own style from that.
