Hello everyone, as you may know, we have for the last couple of days had massive lag. So much that it is game breaking for some people.
We are all pretty sure that what is causing the lag is farms. Mob farms and spawners/xp farms.
Some of you've heard I found a "5 spawner" (containing a skele, 3 cavespider and a zombie spawner)
My idea for a fix to a lot of the lag we have on the server, is to use this as our "spawner hub".
All the afk'ing in spawners all over the map would be gone, thus would a lot of the lag.
The "5 spawner hub" is something I've been working on with Frosch after I found it a few days ago while mining, and I think it would make a difference to how much the server lags.
Making the "5 spawner hub" a reality, would of course mean all other spawners/farms would have to be deactivated or destroyed.
What is great about it is, we have made it so the mobs die or don't even spawn when noone wants to use it (has to be toggled manually). (we originally did this because we had the gold farm for xp and only wanted the items)
Of course we are not taking the gold farm down, it's a massive build that many of us are happy about. Even though it causes lag when being used...
And we will probably still get the enderman farm as always.
I added a screenshot of what the "hub" looks like right now. Please keep in mind that it can be improved and changed so that it is functioning perfectly.
EDIT: I forgot to add that there is a partly working slime chunk too.
