I have been accused of stealing and x-raying. I have done neither. I would never steal from my friend Vaati, and have gotten all my diamonds legit. EDIT: I go mining every night at 8ish EST. with a fortune 3 pick I have multiple sets of armpit because I am trying to get certain enchants, all I have is a full set enchanted an extra helm and I believe pants.

And if I stole the item frames wouldn't they be in my house or in one of my chests

I'm not going to vote in this for obvious reasons.
I haven't had a problem with you on the SMP and you seem like a nice person. But I'm going by the evidence I have currently.

I don't really know what to say tbh, I have had no issue with you myself so I don't really think I can vote in favour of a ban that I do not strongly agree with so I guess its a yes from me

As for being on when everyone else was at UHC today I was mostly AFK/ Working on a giant tree attached to my house

And I had no reason to steal Frosch's shovel since Vaati gave me one to help him clear out an area for his spiral staircase

I think there is not enough evidence to warrant a ban and here are my reasons:
You were not seen within the (what appears to be an obvious) X-Ray location, but you were found to be near it which warrants suspicion. You are neighbors to people losing items, but you have not been seen in their houses or with their items.
I will agree that the circumstances are suspicious, but I think a ban is harsh for suspicious activity alone. Since there is nothing we can do to investigate further I have some suggestions, although they may be considered a bit extreme.
One of them would be to suspend the player first instead of instant ban. It sucks because you can't play on the server, but it gives us time to work through our investigation further, and also see if the thefts continue. If the suspension is kept between staff and the players then if there is a thief they would be none the wiser and continue stealing. (See more on why I dislike this below.)
The second would be to have you log in, kill you and have you spawn with an empty inventory. Next, you empty your ender chest into your inventory. Then you would be killed again so we can verify everything that is on your person, or that was in your chest. I think if you were to comply with these things and found not to have any of the resources people recognize as their own, all guilt should be absolved and you would deserve a huge apology from your accusers.
In my opinion, the ban appeal section should be redone so that it is only accessible to a designated staff and the accused members. It seems like the current format can serve more as a public shaming of the individual and even if the accused is found to be innocent, a lot of unneeded suspicion would be spread which could result in player reprisal. It could also put this person up as a scapegoat since (assuming the accused is innocent) it is public information so the real thief on the server could tone it down until the situation blows over. It's important to remember that although players may have been suspicious it was the admins that implemented discipline after investigating the thefts and discovering suspicious activity, not the players.
Just my two cents.
I also believe Klax wasn't a thief, albiet annoying.

I will happily give you my stuff or let you see my stuff if it allows me to play, but I would never steal from my closest friend on the server. It just sucks how much stuff is coincidental

I hope we can have your patience, it seems we have a bit of discussing to do amongst ourselves but it is currently 4AM in Europe so almost all of our admins are asleep. I've sent skype messages so they should get them in the morning.

This aptly summarizes my feelings on this ban.

Chris is right. I did rush ahead with this ban the moment someone said "I've been stolen from within the past few hours". I feel like my opinion is biased as I've been investigating these incidences a lot. But the circumstances seem far too coincidental to just ignore.
Regarding inventory/ender chest: I've already looked into them. There's nothing too downright suspicious, but there are some items worth noting down (which I'll cover later.)
