UHC Season 8
Saturday 19th September 7pm BST (use a timezone converter to check what time it'll be for you.)
Teams of 2/3 depending on numbers.
The border will be 1250x1250, so hopefully large enough for either teams of 2 or teams of 3.
There will be a shrinking border, going to 100x100 over 2 hours after a 40 minute delay (meaning you'll have 40 minutes before the border starts to shrink.)
If you die, you will be granted spectator mode. If this is abused in any way (disclosing player locations, resources, caves, villages etc.) then you'll lose the privileges of spectating in future UHCs and possibly not be allowed to join the next one. The vanilla server's rules apply. Don't be unfair!
Watch this video to see the rules: (it's slightly outdated, but the rules still stand)
Extra rules:
1. No Notch apples, these are the ones with golden blocks used in place of golden ingots.
2. No II potions of any kind, whether that be swiftness, strength, etc.
3. The SMP rules apply here, minus rules regarding stealing, of course.
4. Xraying is strictly forbidden, same with other mods e.g. Minimap etc. The only mod allowed is Optifine. If there are any questions feel free to ask here.
5. Staircasing down to bedrock or any other level (Y 16 is popular) just for the sole purpose of collecting a certain material is not allowed. This is a form of branch mining and ruins the idea of caving for resources. We check the maps afterwards so it's easy to track people who have done this.
6. NO portal trapping. This is where a player sets up a trap at a Nether portal to kill any players going through. It's not fun and doesn't really make Nether travel worthwhile.
7. No pillaring or skybases. This makes it almost impossible to engage in fair PvP and just drags the game on. This also includes large bases at 0, 0.
There's probably more rules I'm forgetting, so I'll update this post if need be.
Event server IP: 185.38.148.43:25611
The UHC should be hosted on the event server, if it isn't then it'll be on the vanilla one.
