Dogs have both advantages and disadvantages.
That's just what I think. If I see a wolves during a UHC I will usually try and tame them, but they don't really impact much unless you change your playing style or have many of them.
- You can easily surround someone in narrow places with them.
- They're good cannon fodder.
- Those extra hearts of damage dealt by dogs can really change the outcome of a battle.
- They're cuddly
- They are sometimes hard to find, although this depends on the seed.
- They can give away the location of a team due to the fact that it's hard to shut them up or hide them.
- They're not that useful in low numbers, at least from my experience.
- They have rabies.
