That's why it's good that we have until January to sort this out. Nothing new can be done on the same map and the server is pretty 50/50 on whether to get a new map or not. unless I'm misunderstanding you I do new things on the server all the time. Sorry, you did misunderstand me  I meant like quadrants and other events. |

There a few of us that are at that point where we are starting the next big thing!
And with talk of a "new" map I was wondering the following
1) if we are getting a new map why are we waiting till January to start it we all have some kind of Xmas/ holidays break and would be the perfect time to gather resources in the new map?
2) you mention quadrant in the post I've linked above? Is this in the plans for the future to return as I for one am not a fan of going in this direction?
3) other events? We have an events server for uhc people so what other events do you mean by this? (That can't be achieved in current map?)
I don't mind change so keep this map or start a fresh but there are a lot of new people here now and maybe we can clarify the points I've raised so we all know where we stand in regards playing on and starting that next big thing?

Hey Digging 1) Well it's when the server runs out, and we decided that we'd plan to do something for January (new map). But if people honestly want to start a new map before then.. we hear you. 2) We're working on an idea that is similar to quadrants but more lenient. But it isn't set that it will happen. We may just have a new map. 3) Back in Realm of Silence, I used to do Horse Racing events and fishing competitions and I want to bring some of them back. As far as stuff that can't be achieved in the current map, I was thinking of doing more things with spawn that people can build around. I really hate to be all "This might happen" and such but we really haven't decided yet. I can tell you that I'm currently in the process of making a new forum which I'm dying to get out. |

We keep the current map but move spawn away from the current spawn area maybe say 2k away or so then we can implement your ideas better without having a map reset. I also built Realm Rush for mini games and events to be built there not sure if some of your ideas could be tried there? I personally feel as though the holidays are a bad time to reset a map considering many like to redecorate for them and give gifts, put up a tree, etc. |
