umm my message is different than the quote you posted 1) I meant have the stronghold inside the neutral zone so it is not inside a quadrant. and if we have a quadrant over the end portal 3 teams are going to get mining fatigue while one team wont. for this reason the neutral zone should be large enought to be able to have the end portal inside the neutral zone.
2) say my quadrant has the only ocean monument and large mob farms are not allowed. say our build style requires more sea lanterns than what is at the ocean monument are we then supposed to go to it to kill guardians and probably die then have to pay a tax for dying or can we still build the farm?
3) When I said minigames I did not mean king of the ladder because I dont like how how king of the ladder is always built. Its not original and should be banned. Minigames can look nice. Look up hermit thrills sometime. I was thinking more on the lines of original games that aren't excessively huge. Also I just figured spawn could have more to offer than just shops and a town hall. The minigames would just be an extra thing to get more collabrative things happening. I guess the events/games wouldn't have to be at spawn but that seemed like an ideal location for them since it is a neutral zone.
5) I was meaning say quadrant 1 has their relic displayed in a chest all other quadrants should have their relic in a chest as well to keep it fair or if its in an item frame the other quadrants have to have it in an item frame as well. I didnt mean the relics had to be in the same type of building.

I guess the events/games wouldn't have to be at spawn but that seemed like an ideal location for them since it is a neutral zone. Contracting work is the hardest part so far because the Mining Fatigue will make breaking misplaced blocks a hassle. I recommend if you want to build a mini games place then join a town with a bunch of others who want to work on it so you can work freely. 5) I was meaning say quadrant 1 has their relic displayed in a chest all other quadrants should have their relic in a chest as well to keep it fair or if its in an item frame the other quadrants have to have it in an item frame as well. I didnt mean the relics had to be in the same type of building. Well, I will reply to these then 1. I understand now, but I think that actually makes it more difficult in the long run. If Spawn is at a stronghold then it will be weird and confusing to know the coordinates of the Quadrants. When Spawntown is at 0,0 all of the Quadrant lines are the 0 Axis on either X or Y, so it is simple. Also, it's easy enough to turn off effects for events like the Dragon. Also, End Portals spawn something like 300-1000 blocks away from 0,0 and I don't want a DMZ that big. If it is then I can see some people just living inside the DMZ. 2. The farms in question are Iron Farms, and Gold Farms. I think Material farms should be acceptable, but since Gold and Iron are likely to be getting a bit of use through shops I prefer we don't use them. The gold farm on the current server is completely garbage. I sat on it for a little less than two hours and got 196 levels and almost 4 stacks of Gold Blocks. To me, the build is a cool concept and effective in a single player world, but in multiplayer it just makes every rich and ruins the economy. The new enchanting system's point is to make it so you don't have to rely on farms as much anyways. 3. You can put a minigames area within your Quadrant and contract out work for it, and as long as the person working in your Quadrant has a signed book by the person Contracting the work (A Work Permit that specifies the area in which they are allowed to build and if found outside of the specified area or refuse to show their permit may be killed) then they may work freely. Spawn Town is an incorrect phrase for what it is going to be. It is simply a trade hub for the Quadrants. There is no Spawn Town. Look to your Capital City's as a spawn town. The Trade Hub is the only place on the map where all Four Quadrants connect. 5. Relics should be displayed as a trophy. You don't put Trophy's in a chest. You put them on a shelf or in a case so everyone can see it. How Quadrants display their relics is up to them, but they must be on display. Tucked away in a chest, or in an inventory of a logged out person is not acceptable. If you steal a relic be sure to put it in an item frame as soon as you return home.

Will 100x100 be big enough? If we have some sort of town hall type building and shops for each quadrant, I feel like we will need more space

I could build an obsidian wall like 50 blocks tall 20 thick and surrounding my quadrant then our team would be unstoppable and kinda disadvantaged cause we have a giant wall in our way. Great Wall of Jman.

E
Assaults
Named Animals may NEVER be stolen, including during an Assault
Using TNT or Lava during an Assault is not Authorized since it could result in destroyed items or Damaged Property; violations of this rule could be reviewed under Server "Rule 4. No Griefing"
Shame, this would be good for ransoms and could make keeping important animals e.g. horses safer. Perhaps have this allowed if the animal is not harmed whatsoever and can be bought back for a reasonable price? That would be able to give nations the chance to gain items they need in an interesting way. Although I can see how this could turn into a very dickish thing and cause problems.I'm guessing this would include flint and steel? It's great for PvP purposes but it can get out of hand and...bye bye build.

So a map with stronghold close to 0,0 would be ideal. I just don't feel like its fair to have negative effects applied to the members of the 3 quadrants who are not apart of the quadrant the stronghold is in. 2) so your just talking about the op iron (iron titans/foundries) and gold farms (afk xp gold farm) or are the basic/slow/low-efficiency gold and iron farms not allowed either? 5) to display the relic it can be displayed however you want as long as its in an item frame?

There are 3 strongholds per map Jman. I don't understand how it wouldn't be fair. People don't usually go to strongholds other than to fight the Ender Dragon, and for that we will turn off the effects. Economy farms. I think XP farms like skele farms, zombie, spiders, etc are fine. All these Iron Titans and Gold farms are so ridiculous OP. I currently have 196 levels on the server. It's unnecessary and it only took a little over an hour. Iron and Gold farms ruin economy. The reason it hasn't mattered in the past is because we have a bunch of people playing SSP on our SMP server. We have very few community builds and shops rarely get used. My major criticism with this server is that everyone is just playing by themselves and we rarely work together on projects. The big grinders are an SSP thing. You don't see the Mindcrackers building those kind of grinders on their SMP, but they have them all in their single player lets play worlds. That was my motivation for creating this gamemode. I want to play with Realm... not just by myself on the Realm server. The most fun I had in my LP series I was when Lady and I tackled the Ocean Monument and when she helped me empty out my underwater build. With this gamemode I hope that people will work together more and have more fun experiences together. We'll figure out the Relics when we decide what they are, since not all items need an item frame. Maybe the Relics can be custom flags that have a Gold Border or something. This part is still being brainstormed.

Great idea!! If someone breaks rule 6 and is a dick, they could be 'banished' with a 75% vote from their nation. This would force them to roam, not belonging to any quadrant, until someone claimed them or they paid a fine. Kind of like an outcast

I will release an episode 0 like I did last season explaining it a little better depending on how much time I have. I just saw the vote for next week map reset and was totally surprised. In my mind I had 3-4 weeks longer to figure it out and work with the command blocks.

Allstar is boss I suggest starting when he says to restart Well I've been working on general command block stuff with Nabbsky but there are some things that still need to be figured out. Also, Alex the reason I don't want stolen animals is because if it dies it could cause huge problems since horses are going to be a bit more useful in this gamemode, since Assaults must travel by foot, and people will probably not want to connect a nether tunnel to the Trade Hub to keep there towns harder to find.
