I just thought of another thing, If a Quad makes their base at 6k,6k isn't it impossible to reach it in 30min from Spawn? From spawn perhaps. But something I was talking about with Chinto on the server the other day Nether travel. Not via another quadrant, but Say Blue's base is at 6k 6k and Yellow (my quad) is assaulting. We will take out assault team to spawn to declare assault, and then (in our quad) enter the nether and rush to a portal on the border of our quadrants aligned with your quads. Then your team only has to run/ride a max of 6k. You gotta have that planning and strategy

That would also only work for quadrants directly neighboring your own, otherwise if you were assaulting a diagonal quadrant you would need to nether your way into an enemy quadrant first, running the risk of being killed or them discovering your portal. Definitely more risk. If everyone builds far, we may need to adjust the assault time limit to give teams a fair chance of even reaching the city.

Would it be possible to take prisoners? Think about it

I was thinking about that a while back. It would be really interesting, but boring for the prisoner.

I was thinking about that a while back. It would be really interesting, but boring for the prisoner. They could plan a prison break with someone on the outside. If it wasn't guarded they could get out. They could be held for ransom. Could be so cool! I'm definitely building a prison.

Would it be possible to take prisoners? Think about it Probably an attacking member could surrender to the defenders if he didn't want to be killed. Maybe agreed upon before, idk.

What about this: Prisoners may only be kept for a predetermined limited time. Your prison must include one vital flaw through which they could potentially escape - a tricky parkour or something similar. Prisoner labour: prisoners can shorten their sentences by performing tasks for their jailors. They would be subject to a gentleman's / gentlewoman's agreement not to flee under these circumstances.

The easiest way to submit would be to drop your sword, then put up blocks around yourself, encasing yourself in a prison since you will have mining fatigue in another territory.

There would be no way of determining if the prisoner has items. They could have a spare sword, a map, blocks to escape, etc. this definitely needs a lot of thinking first

Well if we make it a rule they're not allowed any items then they're just being a dick by ruining it. And yeah, it'd be nice to get more opinions concerning this.
